Constructed almost entirely of 316 stainless steel, 6061 aluminium and hardwood only the best materials have been used. Aluminium parts anodised for lasting protection, the bead blasted finish adds a soft look to the aluminium and adds depth to the colour. Adjustment is stepless and marked to 0.001mm increments so you can get exactly the right grind size every time. The 83mm Mazzer conical burrs spin at a 1:1 ratio with the crank so every time you stop grinding the adjustment marks directly face you.
The inner burr bearing is mounted on the same carrier as the outer burr ensuring everything stays square and concentric under all load and temperature variations.
The most interesting feature of this design though is the 820g stainless steel fly wheel which spins at 6.5 times crank speed which gives us 42 times the kinetic energy it would have if directly mounted while keeping a compact clean form.
