These terms apply to purchases from and use of kineticespresso.com (“the site”), operated by Kinetic Espresso, Brisbane, Australia (“Kinetic”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to them.
1. Products
Kinetic machines are built in small numbers and finished by hand. Colour, grain and surface finish vary from unit to unit; photographs on the site are representative, not exact. We may change a design, specification or price at any time without notice. Products marked “Soon” are not yet available to order.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise and exclude shipping, import duties and local taxes. Payment is taken in full at the time of order through the payment methods offered at checkout. An order is accepted when we send a confirmation email; we may decline or cancel an order (for example where stock is unavailable or a price was shown in error), in which case any payment is refunded in full.
3. Shipping
We ship worldwide. Dispatch times are shown on the product page or in your order confirmation. Once a parcel is handed to the carrier, tracking is sent to you by email. Import duties, customs charges and local taxes in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in our prices. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
4. Returns and change of mind
Please choose carefully. Because each machine is made and packed to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind — that includes colour. The colour options are photographed on each product page; if you’re unsure, email us before you order. If you have a problem with a product, contact us first — most issues can be sorted quickly by email.
5. Warranty
Kinetic warrants each machine against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from delivery. If a covered fault appears in that time we will repair or replace the affected part, or the machine, at our choice. The warranty does not cover normal wear (including burrs), or damage from misuse, modification, accident or lack of maintenance, and it does not cover shipping costs for claims from outside Australia. To make a claim, email us with your order number and a description of the fault.
6. Use and care
Our machines are hand-operated mechanical devices with moving parts and sharp burrs. Keep fingers clear of the burrs and gear train while the machine is in use, keep it out of reach of children, and follow the care instructions supplied. We are not responsible for damage or injury arising from use contrary to those instructions.
7. Intellectual property
The designs, names, images, text and drawings on this site belong to Kinetic Espresso. You may not copy or reproduce them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
8. Liability
Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
9. Privacy
We collect the information needed to process and ship your order and to answer your enquiries, and we do not sell it. Payment details are handled by our payment providers and are not stored by us. The site uses analytics cookies to understand how it is used.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be dealt with in the courts of Queensland, after both parties have first tried in good faith to resolve it by email.
